Corn Exchange
Who they are:
Built in 1903, the Corn and Produce Exchange is one of the most iconic buildings in Manchester. Chocolate were asked to reinvent the brand into the Corn Exchange and create a complete marketing suite in conjunction with Halogen PR.
What we did:
The most crucial element of the rebrand was the logo. It had to be modern and yet avoid clashing with the the historic location it represented. The logo also had to be adaptable to many uses, from large scale hoardings to the building’s internal glasswork.
Thanks for Franks
Who they are:
Thanks for Franks are a food manufacturer that produce grab and go bars and snacks. Their range of products are distributed in bars and supermarkets across the UK.
What we did:
The Thanks for Franks logo was designed using a classic American font style paired with delicate pastel colours that would stand out and appeal to customers.
Modello
Who they are:
Modello Bar and Kitchen are situated in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. The Modello brand regularly compliments its contemporary Mediterranean dining experience with a number of different live events.
What we did:
Chocolate were commissioned to create Modello’s distinctive new logo. A clean and direct design approach was employed to create a logo with classic visual style.
NMG Group
Who they are:
NMG Group are a worldwide financial services research and consulting organisation. They operate in Singapore, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South Africa.
What we did:
Chocolate designed NMG’s worldwide logo and corporate stationery. Templates for brochures, company reports, accounts and newsletters were also created.
JPF Clarke
Who they are:
JPF Clarke is a family run UK company which have built bespoke luxury homes since 1976. In 2009 one of their developments was featured in the Talkback Thames architectural show Grand Designs on Channel 4.
What we did:
Chocolate designed JPF Clarke’s distinctive logo and all their branded company materials.
Sweets in the City
Who they are:
Sweets in the City are a confectionery retailer that packages packets of sweets for gifts, business, weddings and festive occasions. Their products are also sold through high street retailers in central London.
What we did:
Chocolate designed an appropriate logo for the client which captured their quirky, niche position in the marketplace. Stationery and packaging accoutrements were also created.
Tri-Star
Who they are:
Tri-Star are one of the largest food packaging suppliers in the UK. Formed in 1991, the company produces a wide range of disposable and environmentally friendly products.
What we did:
Chocolate have worked closely with Tri-Star since 2005. We helped them develop a brand new corporate image, including their sharp, precise logo of three interlocking stars.
The Pasty Shop
Who they are:
The Pasty Shop are a large chain of shops which serve genuine Cornish pasties in mainline railway stations across the UK.
What we did:
The Pasty Shop approached Chocolate in 200x to help them re-establish themselves in the competitive retail food sector. Chocolate revitalized the Pasty Shop chain with a new logo, signage, store frontage and a modernized brand image.
Ravello
Who they are:
Ravello are a small chain of cafes and sandwich shops with 5 locations in and around Westminster, London.
What we did:
Chocolate provided Ravello with a new customer journey plan for each site helping to speed customer decision and maximize speed. We then developed a new brand image for the company that included a new logo.
Pumpkin
Who they are:
Pumpkin are a large chain of café shops located in mainline railway stations across the UK.
What we did:
Chocolate helped Pumpkin clarify their brand image as a café shop in the foodservice industry.
FM Print
Who they are:
FM Print is an environmentally friendly printing company based in Basildon, Essex. They were one of the first UK companies to implement systems to achieve the ISO 140001 accreditation.
What we did:
Chocolate worked closely with FM print to update their image in the printing industry. The FM Print logo, company branding and stationery materials were completely redesigned to reflect their environmental status.
Centre MK
Who they are:
Centre MK is a huge shopping centre development and open market that forms the very heart of shopping in Milton Keynes. Numerous free events are held throughout the year at the centre’s Middleton Hall.
What we did:
Chocolate were commissioned to help to develop a new ‘brand within a brand’ for this space – we called this Queen’s Court, Destination Dining. We were also asked to design and build their new marketing suite. The new direction was a huge success and all new units were successfully let.
At The Junction
Who they are:
At the Junction is a signage trail developed for the Clapham Junction retail district. Wandsworth City Council wanted to give the area a new brand identity, bringing the local community together and building public awareness of the huge retail opportunities available in Clapham.
What we did:
Working in partnership with Halogen PR, Chocolate created a new brand logo for the Junction. The client required the design to be user friendly, energetic and directional.
Mermaid Quay
Who they are:
Mermaid Quay is a modern waterfront shopping centre based in Cardiff, Wales. It is famous for its amazing views and open air restaurants.
What we did:
The logo is a literal representation of the name via an anthropomorphic letter Q. Turquoise blue/green colours emphasized the aquatic water theme.
Cubic Center
Who they are:
The Cubic Center is a striking new office building in the flourishing district of Pipera, in North Bucharest, Romania. Chocolate were commissioned to give the building the necessary materials for their sales team to let the space to large European businesses.
What we did:
Chocolate supplied the client with a new corporate identity suite including a totally new logo. A website was developed in conjunction with an information brochure and other promotional materials.
Apostrophe
Who they are:
Apostrophe are a chain of successful cafés in and around central London serving a range of delicious, freshly made sandwiches and hot and cold drinks in a contemporary, modern environment.
What we did:
Apostrophe approached Chocolate looking for a communications agency to help them discover a new direction for their brand. Through a series of brand workshops, we helped them identify the business problems and build a picture of our target audience.
We then developed a new strapline which formed the foundation of the new brand – ‘The Accent on Taste’.
